Boushh, Han and Kenner Leia Updates

I’ve started having dragoncon dreams – a little later than usual!
Two weeks from now I go pick up the van… eek.

We’re actually hoping to be in Atlanta around 7 or so on Thursday. That’s the earliest we’ve ever gotten there, except for 2005 when we got there Thursday afternoon because we had Phantom of the Opera tickets.

Anyway – we figured out the Boushh knees last night, and Chase thinned up the leather. I almost finish my undertunic – I put eyelets in the neck so I can tighten it up, and finished the sleeves except for the edges, Chase wants to glue them over. I’m hoping he’ll do that tonight and I can put the studs on so I can mark it off.
Finished my mockup of the tunic and took it apart.
I got one pair of leia boots – wrong colour, painted one of them up a bit as an experiment and cut it down. They look pretty good – I think the only way I’ll end up going with the other pair is if it doesn’t have a zipper to contend with.
Messed up some more snaps.
Marked spots for closures on the Han shirt. He wants hook and eyes, I thought we were doing buttons. Whichever.
Sewed on bloodstripes some more.

Off to work with the Han pants in tow, along with the doll Leia suit – I’ve got about half of one bloodstripe left to go, should finish that today at work, and I need to pick out where I sewed the top to the bottom on tne Leia suit. If I’m lucky I could even finish that tonight.

I have Friday off. Thank goodness! There’s still so much to do, but things are coming along.
Tonight – finish grommets on WW bodice, get boning cut and in. Finish edges. See if Chase will cut out my WWs so I can get them attached.
Cut out Boushh tunic pieces, put it together.
Put collar on Jango jumpsuit.
Sew on fasteners on Han shirt.
Finish snaps on Leia skirt.
